FAQ’s about Sharing your Story

Am I able to remain anonymous?

Yes, we respect yours, and your families privacy. We will not publish your name, or photograph.

How much detail do I need to share?

That’s entirely up to you. Every parent / carer is at different stages of their journey with a loved one.  Sharing your story doesn’t need to be done when your loved one has fully recovered. It can be incredibly helpful to parents and carers to identify and connect with others experiencing similar situations at different stages of their journey.  We know it helps to feel less alone.

Where will my story be published?

Your story will be published on our website, under Carer Stories.  We also use extracts for our social platforms (Facebook, Instagram).

Am I able to update my story at a later stage?

Yes of course. It is your story, and if you want to update, change, or even remove your story from the website at any time, you are able to.
