Carer Support Groups
Join a support group to connect with other carers of a loved one with an eating disorder.
Our support groups are all online and bring together carers from around Australia.
Whether your loved one has a diagnosis, or you are concerned about their behaviours around food and/or their appearance, our support groups can help you care for your loved one.
Our lived experience facilitators:
- Provide a safe, supportive place for carers to gain support or learn new ways of connecting and caring for a loved one
- Share knowledge and encouragement
- Provide hope with stories of recovery
What to expect
- One-hour groups
- A relaxed and comfortable space to find support
- No expectation to share – feel free to come along and listen
- Run by facilitators with their own experience caring for a loved one with an eating disorder
- Anonymity if preferred
