Crisis Management for Eating Disorders presented by Dr Suzy Redston, Psychiatrist

Dr Suzy Redston discusses with carers what constitutes, and how to manage, a medical and psychiatric crisis and what course of action is essential for the safety and wellbeing of our loved ones.

Specialising in assessment and holistic treatment for people suffering with eating disorders and/or trauma related mental illnesses, Dr Redston is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) with advanced certification in psychotherapy and accreditation in Schema Therapy. She is a member of both the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders and the International Academy of Eating Disorders.

Dr Redston has worked in public psychiatry for many years and held both leadership and clinical positions. Now working in the private sector at Ramsay Albert Road Clinic and the Schema Therapy Institute Australia she continues to specialise in working with people affected by eating disorders.
